Hey there, Penn Manor Soccer Club! Welcome to your 2025 season Team Picture Days. I can't begin to describe how excited I am to be back supporting you this season and for the opportunity to provide you with a premier team portrait experience.

I put this webpage together for all the PMSC teams working with CSP as a hub for information, schedules, and answers to questions.

You'll also find below a sign up form. When your team's image collection is ready to view, an email will go out to everyone who signed up with the link and password.

How Team Picture Day Works

I started Creative Sports Photography because as a former player and a youth sports coach, I felt the whole team picture day experience had to be reinvented.

It begins simply through connecting with the players, getting to their level, listening to them, so they feel this is as much about them as it is anything else.

I've developed a team picture day workflow that maximizes efficiency while achieving the high image quality you've come to expect from CSP.

Team picture experiences usually last about 30 minutes per team. Every player receives multiple portraits, and I work in tandems of three players at a time so that coaches can conduct practice and not have to wait for a long line of players to finish their pictures.

When your team's image collection is ready, an email with a link and password will go out to those who sign up below. That way you're first to know when it's time to order.

Meet Your Photographer

Dave Pidgeon is a seasoned photographer and professional storyteller who has worked in media production for more than two decades.

Dave's expertise in on-location lighting and high-end portraiture, in combination with his own experiences as a player, coach, and father, led him to start Creative Sports Photography in 2021.

Creative Sports Photography's signature style and athlete portrait experiences are highly sought after by athletes and photographers alike. He's worked with athletes in multiple states across all levels, and he's taught his lighting and portrait methods to photographers from across the country.

More importantly, though, he's dedicated to making athlete portrait sessions relaxed, enjoyable, and focused first and foremost on respecting the athlete.

Team Picture Day FAQs

DO PARENTS HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING UPFRONT FOR PHOTOS?

You don't need to prepay for prints or digital downloads. I believe to my core that you shouldn't have to pay for a single image before you ever see one. This gives me more than enough incentive to create athlete and team portraits you actually want to have.

CAN WEATHER AFFECT TEAM PICTURE DAY?

Yes it can, but let's keep our fingers crossed. The only two weather-related elements that can affect Creative Sports Photography are high winds and precipitation. That's largely due to the lighting equipment I use to create CSP's signature image style. Generally, a decision related to weather is made 24 hours before the scheduled photo session, and an email will go out to everyone who signs up below.

DO YOU OFFER PRINTS AND DIGITAL PACKAGES?

Oh yeah. CSP utilizes one of the nation's top print labs to provide high quality print products and gifts, and while there are ala carte options, I also offer print and digital packages. The entire product and price list is below by clicking here.

WHAT UNIFORM SHOULD MY TEAM WEAR?

Your team is welcome to wear whatever color uniform it prefers. White uniforms present no trouble for what Creative Sports Photography creates.

WHAT IF MY PLAYER MISSES TEAM PICTURE DAY? WILL THERE BE MAKEUPS?

Unfortunately, due to sickness or injury or vacations and so on, a player might miss team picture day. Creative Sports Photography will do everything in its power to accommodate your player on another day if practical.

HOW LONG AFTER TEAM PICTURE DAY WILL WE SEE THE PHOTOS?

Usually, culling and editing team picture day can take 1-3 weeks. This can be impacted by the volume of work, and there are certain seasons (Spring and late Fall) when turnaround times can be impacted. My goal, though, is to have them to you for ordering within three weeks, and I want to make sure I communicate with the entire club to provide updates on progress.

HOW LONG WILL WE HAVE TO ORDER THE PHOTOS?

As each team's final, edited image collection is finished, CSP publishes them to a central, online, password-protected gallery where all the team pictures are stored. They will be organized by team so finding your family's player is easy. Everyone will have at least four weeks to order prints and gifts.
