About Dave Pidgeon
It all began with T-ball.

I love T-ball. I really do. If you have a sense of humor, T-ball can be enormously entertaining as a parent and coach.

But it was during a miserable team picture day when I realized someone needed to change how team pictures were done. They no longer served the kids, the team, or the parents.

It was time for athlete portraits that truly mattered to the player and parents. And the person who could change it, I decided right then, would be me.

CSP's Owner & Chief Image Maker
I've worked in weddings, family, event, high school senior, and sports photography since 2015. My specialty is in using on-location, off-camera lighting that stands out so athletes have a collection of images that are bold, dynamic, and unique. I learned off-camera lighting thanks to mentoring provided through the Mid-Atlantic Regional School of Photography, and my work has been featured in Popular Photography's book How to Photography Everything as well as in several regional magazines.

A player, a coach, and a parent
What I love about bringing artistic portraiture to local athletes in Lancaster is how it ties back into so much of what I was and am today. I played soccer for Penn Manor High School, I've been a coach for youth sports, and I'm Dad to three young boys.
Those roles help me relate and connect with everyone involved in amazing athlete portraits. And that means spectacular results for clients.
