Hey there, Etown Bears!

This time in a teenage athlete's life doesn't last forever. At some point, the last whistle will blow and an athlete wears the Etown jersey for the final time.
​
For parents, it means perhaps one last chance to be the No. 1 fan of the athlete in their family.
​
For the school district, it means building upon tradition and community pride.
​
All of it means Etown deserves than just ordinary team pictures.
​
I started Creative Sports Photography to raise the performance level of team picture day. The athletes in your district put in so much work, commitment, and sacrifice to play at a high level, and you should expect the same approach to excellence from your team photographer.​

How Team Picture Day Works
I want team picture day images to look like the way this season feels - full of promise, talent, excellence.
​
I want the experience itself to help bond the Elizabethtown teams and generate a memory as part of a successful season.
​
I designed Team Picture Day to raise the level of performance so the team - coaches, the booster club, parents, and players - receive high quality images while having a great time doing it.
​
Creative Sports Photography uses advanced image making techniques to create its signature athlete portrait look - dramatic, high performance, unavailable anywhere else.
​
Every player receives multiple poses so parents have choices when it comes to purchasing prints and/or digital downloads.
​
CSP has also developed a workflow method maximizing efficiency without sacrificing quality. As a former coach, I understand the importance of practice time, and I want to ensure Team Picture Day enhances the season, not be an inconvenience.
​
And CSP does not force parents to pay for pictures before they see them in an online gallery. To my core, as a photography business owner and as a parent of young athletes, I don't believe in that.
​
What I do believe in is as a portrait artist having the incentive to create bold, dynamic, elite images every single time I host a team picture day event.
​
To me, it's just good business practice.
​

Meet Your Photographer
Dave Pidgeon is a seasoned photographer and professional storyteller who has worked in media production for more than two decades.
​
Dave's expertise in on-location lighting and high-end portraiture, in combination with his own experiences as a player, coach, and father, led him to start Creative Sports Photography in 2021.
​
Creative Sports Photography's signature style and athlete portrait experiences are highly sought after by athletes and photographers alike. He's worked with athletes in multiple states across all levels, and he's taught his lighting and portrait methods to photographers from across the country.
​
More importantly, though, he's dedicated to making athlete portrait sessions relaxed, enjoyable, and focused first and foremost on respecting the athlete.

​​​DO YOU OFFER PRINTS AND DIGITAL PACKAGES?
​
Oh yeah. CSP utilizes one of the nation's top print labs to provide high quality print products and gifts, and while there are ala carte options, I also offer print and digital packages. The entire product and price list is below by clicking here.​

WHAT IF MY TEEN ATHLETE MISSES TEAM PICTURE DAY? WILL THERE BE MAKEUPS?
​
Unfortunately, due to sickness or injury or vacations and so on, a player might miss media day. Creative Sports Photography will do everything in its power to accommodate your player on another day if practical.

HOW LONG AFTER TEAM PICTURE DAY WILL WE SEE THE PHOTOS?
​
My goal is to deliver Team Picture Day images within one week of the event. While this can be impacted by the volume of work (busiest seasons are in the Spring and Fall), I operate with the understanding that, well, people are excited to see what we create together. I will do everything in my power to deliver these to you in a timely fashion.
​
HOW LONG WILL WE HAVE TO ORDER THE PHOTOS?
​
As each team's final, edited image collection is finished, CSP publishes them to a central, online, password-protected gallery where all the team pictures are stored. Everyone will have at least four weeks to order prints and gifts.​​​​
​
ARE MEDIA DAY SERVICES PART OF THIS?
​
Nothing is growing in the sports photography genre quite like media day, an event to showcase your team's personality and to build a trove of images the team can use to promote its games, athletes, and culture. Media Day services with CSP are separate but can be available to any Etown team who would like to take advantage. More information about Media Day with Creative Sports Photography is here.

Creative Sports Photography's image making expertise only begins with elite-level portraiture for young athletes.

As part of its services to Elizabethtown, CSP will photograph one game for every Bears team in junior high and high school.

I've worked the sidelines of countless sports, from baseball to water polo, from field hockey to football.
