Team Picture Day FAQs

DO PARENTS HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING UPFRONT FOR PHOTOS?

Nope! I don't believe in that, actually. You only pay for the photos you want after you see them in the password-protected online gallery. For me, that maintains the incentive to create images you actually want to have.

DO YOU OFFER PRINT AND DIGITAL PACKAGES?

Oh yeah. CSP utilizes one of the nation's top print labs to provide high quality print products and gifts, and while there are ala carte options, I also offer print and digital packages. The entire product and price list is below by clicking here.

WHAT IF MY PLAYER MISSES TEAM PICTURE DAY? WILL THERE BE MAKEUPS?

Unfortunately, due to sickness or injury or vacations and so on, a player might miss media day. Creative Sports Photography will do everything in its power to accommodate your player on another day if practical.

WILL THE DIGITAL DOWNLOADS HAVE A WATERMARK ON THEM?

No, not when you download them to your PC or phone. They will have one when you see the gallery, but when you download a file, the watermark will be removed.

PRACTICE IS IMPORTANT. REALLY IMPORTANT. HOW MUCH DISRUPTION IS THIS GOING TO CAUSE TO HOCKEY PRACTICE?

I'm a former youth sports coach, and in my years photographing teams, I've come to understand and respect the importance of practice time. Getting time on the ice is a premium and not to be taken for granted. That's why I've developed a workflow that maximizes efficiency without sacrificing quality, and it maintains the integrity of practice. Part of that workflow includes working with groups of three players at a time for individual portraits, that way the rest of the team can practice.

HOW LONG AFTER TEAM PICTURE DAY WILL WE SEE THE PHOTOS?

My goal is to deliver team picture day images within one week of the event. While this can be impacted by the volume of work (busiest seasons are in the Spring and Fall), I will do everything in my power to deliver these to you in a timely fashion.

HOW LONG WILL WE HAVE TO ORDER THE PHOTOS?

As each team's final, edited image collection is finished, CSP publishes them to a central, online, password-protected gallery, where all the team pictures are stored. Everyone will have at least four weeks to order prints and gifts. In CPP's case, you'll definitely be able to order throughout the holiday season.

WHY IS THERE A MINIMUM $25 PER PRINT ORDER

The $25 minimum order helps Creative Sports Photography continue providing the high-quality photography, premium products, and personalized service that families have come to expect. It allows me to keep investing in professional equipment, top-tier print labs, and the time needed to create an exceptional Media Day experience for every team I serve.

Thank you for supporting a locally owned small business. Your investment helps ensure I can continue serving athletes and their families for many seasons to come.

WILL YOU TAKE PICTURES OF SIBLINGS OR COACHES AND THEIR CHILDREN?

Yes. Absolutely, yes! These will be taken on the ice right after the team group pictures are taken. This is done so that the camera settings and lighting equipment are set for group photos (unlike the individual portrait area). PLEASE NOTE: Only players, siblings, and coaches who are involved in CPP are eligible. If you have another player with another club, please speak to me about other arrangements.

DO YOU ALSO PROVIDE GAME DAY PHOTOGRAPHY COVERAGE?

Yes I do! I provide it for both teams or individuals looking to have a package of professional images from a game or competition. For more information, check out this page.

GREAT! WHAT ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR PORTRAITS?

There's no year quite like your child's senior year. The last season, the last game, the last time they'll wear that uniform. It's one no one wants to forget, but memories do fade and high school seniors become young men and women faster than a parent wants to believe. Yes, Creative Sports Photography provides high school senior portraits as part of its signature Be Elite portrait experiences. Check it out here.
