Archery isn't just a hobby. Not for your archer. It's a way of life, a dream, a path he or she has followed and will take them toward the young adult they will become. Athlete portraits with Creative Sports Photography are meant to tell your archer's story by going beyond boring school pictures and reflecting what this sport means to your family's participant.

How it works

Dave Pidgeon, owner and chief image maker at Creative Sports Photography, will have a mini-studio set up in the trade show area of Spooky Nook and the state archery tournament. Archers can sign up for a 15 minute time slot for $15 (plus Pennsylvania state sales tax). We'll spend 10 minutes making as many athlete portraits as possible, then five minutes reviewing the images. Parents can order prints, wall art, and keepsakes on the spot.

You'll also receive a free framed magnet of an image of your choice, just for signing up and participating.

Meet Your Photographer

Dave Pidgeon is a seasoned photographer and professional storyteller who has worked in media production for more than two decades.

Dave's expertise in on-location lighting and high-end portraiture, in combination with his own experiences as a player, coach, and father, led him to start Creative Sports Photography in 2021.

Creative Sports Photography's signature style and athlete portrait experiences are highly sought after by athletes and photographers alike. He's worked with athletes in multiple states across all levels, and he's taught his lighting and portrait methods to photographers from across the country.

More importantly, though, he's dedicated to making athlete portrait sessions relaxed, enjoyable, and focused first and foremost on respecting the athlete.

CAN WE INCLUDE ANOTHER ARCHER OR SIBLING?

No. Each slot is designed for one archer at a time so that we can maximize the time and get as many portraits as possible.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE THE PRINTS?

Orders will be sent to CSP's print lab and shipped to you within 1-2 weeks of the archery tournament.

WHY IS THERE A COST JUST TO SIGN UP FOR A TIME SLOT?

The cost for one mini-session ensures you a time slot on Friday, March 20.

WHAT IF WE WANT TO ORDER BUT ARE NOT READY TO ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT?

The images CSP creates from the tournament will be available in an online gallery for four weeks after the event. Parents can order prints, wall art, and keepsakes online.
