Welcome back, Manheim Township families!
I'm excited to be working with you again this season. It's always a privilege to photograph your cheer squads, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to continue serving your players and families.
This page is your one-stop resource for everything related to Media Day. You'll find schedules, FAQs, sample images, product and package information, and other helpful details to make the process as smooth as possible.

How Media Day Works
Creative Sports Photography has partnered with teams and sports organizations for years to produce Media Days that are organized, efficient, and deliver a professional experience for every athlete.
Each player is photographed in multiple poses and looks, creating a diverse collection of images that can be used for team promotions, social media, banners, senior recognition, player profiles, and keepsakes for families.
Media Day is about more than checking a box. It's an opportunity to create bold, polished images that showcase the athletes, strengthen the team's brand, and celebrate the season ahead.
Drawing on a background in journalism, portrait photography, and working with young athletes, I help every player feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Whether an athlete loves the spotlight or would rather be anywhere else, my goal is to make the experience enjoyable and produce images that feel authentic.
After Media Day, every image is carefully selected and professionally edited before being delivered in secure, password-protected online galleries.
Families will have at least four weeks to view their gallery and order professional prints, high-resolution digital downloads, and other keepsake products.

Meet Your Photographer
Dave Pidgeon is the owner and Chief Image Maker behind Creative Sports Photography. A professional photographer and visual storyteller for more than 20 years, he founded the company with one goal: to give young athletes the same level of care, creativity, and professionalism that elite athletes receive.
As a former athlete, youth sports coach, and father of three athletes, Dave understands just how much time, commitment, and sacrifice go into every season. That perspective shapes every Picture Day, creating an experience that's organized, enjoyable, and focused on celebrating each athlete's hard work.
Known for his dramatic lighting and distinctive portrait style, Dave has photographed athletes throughout the Mid-Atlantic and has taught his signature lighting techniques to photographers from across the country. His work has become recognized for creating images that are both striking today and meaningful for years to come.
Whether he's photographing an entire team or creating an individual athlete portrait, Dave's priority remains the same: helping every athlete feel confident, respected, and proud of what they've accomplished.

Media Day FAQs
DO PARENTS HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING UPFRONT FOR PHOTOS?
Nope! The high resolution digital files of the final images are already paid for, so they will be yours to download at no additional cost once the gallery is published.
HOW CAN WE USE THE DIGITAL FILES?
You can basically use the digital image files in almost every imaginable way - social media, marketing your team, on a college recruiting profile, and so on. The one major prohibition is selling the image for any kind of commercial use.
WILL YOU OFFER PRINTS AND PRINT PACKAGES?
Digital images are wonderful for sharing with family and friends, posting on social media, and preserving your memories. But there's something special about seeing your athlete's accomplishments displayed on the walls of your home.
A professionally printed portrait serves as a daily reminder of the hard work, dedication, and growth that went into the season. It's more than a photograph. It's a celebration of an important chapter in your athlete's life.
That's why Creative Sports Photography partners with one of the nation's premier professional print labs to offer exceptional prints, wall art, and keepsake products designed to last for generations..
WHAT IF MY PLAYER MISSES MEDIA DAY? WILL THERE BE MAKEUPS?
Unfortunately, due to sickness or injury or vacations and so on, a player might miss team picture day. At this time, no make up date is schedule.
CAN OUR PLAYERS BRING PROPS FOR THE MEDIA DAY SESSION?
I'd be disappointed if they didn't! Bring hats, flags, musical instruments, the mascot uniform, anything that you can imagine. That's what makes Media Day such a blast.
HOW LONG AFTER MEDIA DAY WILL WE SEE THE PHOTOS?
Usually, culling and editing team picture day can take 1-3 weeks. This can be impacted by the volume of work, and there are certain seasons (Spring and late Fall) when turnaround times can be impacted. My goal, though, is to have them to you for ordering within three weeks, and I want to make sure I communicate with the entire club to provide updates on progress.
WHY IS THERE A MINIMUM $25 PER PRINT ORDER
The $25 minimum order helps Creative Sports Photography continue providing the high-quality photography, premium products, and personalized service that families have come to expect. It allows me to keep investing in professional equipment, top-tier print labs, and the time needed to create an exceptional Media Day experience for every team I serve.

HOW LONG WILL WE HAVE TO ORDER THE PHOTOS?
As each team's final, edited image collection is finished, CSP publishes them to a central, online, password-protected gallery where all the team pictures are stored. Everyone will have at least four weeks to order prints and gifts.
